My love of colors, patterns, and textures are combined with my strong desire to be a part of a local and ecologically-minded economy of handmade goods. I currently work as a collections manager at the University of Michigan Museum of Anthropology, which means I also love to organize -and I aim to do it in style! Other favorite pastimes include listening to my daughter play guitar, hanging out with our pet chickens, knitting cozy things, traveling the world, and kayaking.

SSK is an abbreviation for Slightly Smitten Kitten and is also a playful take on the knitting abbreviation for Slip Slip Knit.
